Empowering Encompass: SEO Innovations Drive Traffic Uptick

 

Challenge:

Encompass, a leading custom e-commerce site with over 8,000,000 items, grappled with SEO issues due to poor content associated with their simple OEM parts product listings. Their primary challenge was to improve SEO rankings and boost website traffic while enriching overall customer experience. The task was further complicated by the constraints of their existing e-commerce platform, which required a solution that seamlessly integrated into it.

Approach:

To tackle these challenges, Chameleon Collective adopted a dual-pronged approach. Firstly, we augmented product listings with integrated third-party data and utilized Natural Language Processing (NLP) for copy refinement. Next, we implemented Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) on their platform for improved mobile SEO rankings. Additionally, we developed breadcrumb copy for all tier 1 and tier 2 categories and addressed multiple SEO issues, such as problematic redirects and domain duplicity.

Impact:

Our robust strategy yielded significant improvements in Encompass’s quality scores, organic traffic, and website rankings. Post-implementation, Encompass experienced a double-digit surge in organic traffic, along with notable improvements in domain and subdomain rankings.
