Valerie is a versatile Marketing & Sales Leader who for 7 years built a DTC brand from the ground up in the energy bar space (Better than coffee- BTC).
Prior to that she spent more than 10 years managing sales teams in the B2B space (Enterprise, SMB, Strategic Partners) for Symantec and McAfee in the EU as well as working in Channel Sales for IBM.
Valerie has managed teams from a couple of headcount to 50 sales reps, often including different business units and/or different geographic markets. She has extensive experience with building teams from the ground up, hiring, coaching, onboarding training, compensation plan design, processes & best practices set-up, operational/ strategic/ budget management, forecasting, laying off. and other HR matters. Over the years she has hired circa 150 Reps, meaning around 500 interviews.
Val works well in fast paced environments. She has the reputation to get things done. Val is originally from the French Alps and has been in California since 2014. When not working, she is outdoors working out or exploring the world.
